Overview
Aggressive Memory Saver is operated through buildin.fun. The extension uses browsing information only to provide its tab memory-saving features. Tab information stays on your device and is not uploaded to the Aggressive Memory Saver license service.
Information processed on your device
The extension processes the following information locally:
- Tab URL and domain, title, favicon URL, last-accessed time, active state, pinned state, sound-playing state, and discarded state.
- Your settings, including inactivity timing, protected sites, and per-domain timing.
- Trial start time, license state, and a randomly generated installation identifier.
- Aggregate available-memory readings and the resulting rough memory estimate.
- During the current browser session, the tab IDs that this extension discarded. These IDs distinguish its work from tabs unloaded by Chrome or another extension.
This information is used only to decide which tabs are eligible, show tab status in the popup, apply your settings, estimate memory freed, and provide license access.
Information sent for licensing
License activation, validation, and deactivation send your license key, a generated browser label, and the license instance ID to the Aggressive Memory Saver API over HTTPS. The API forwards the license information to Creem to manage activation. It does not send tab URLs, domains, titles, favicons, page contents, or browsing history to the license service.
The API runs on Cloudflare. A rate limiter uses network information, including an IP-derived key, to prevent abuse. The application does not maintain its own customer or browsing-history database. Cloudflare may retain operational logs according to its privacy policy.
Purchases
Checkout and payment are handled by Creem as merchant of record. Payment details are entered directly with Creem and are not received or stored by the extension or the Aggressive Memory Saver API. Creem may process buyer, payment, device, and transaction information as described in its privacy policy.
Storage and deletion
Local extension data remains until you remove the extension, clear its storage, or deactivate the license where applicable. Session-only tab ownership IDs are cleared when the browser session ends. Creem retains transaction and license information according to its legal and accounting obligations.
You can remove local data by uninstalling the extension. You can deactivate a browser license in Settings. For a data-access or deletion request concerning the service, contact support@buildin.fun.
Security
External requests use HTTPS. The extension requests only the Chrome permissions needed to inspect tab metadata, schedule automatic runs, store settings, and read aggregate system memory.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Aggressive Memory Saver's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Browsing information is not sold, used for advertising, transferred for creditworthiness or lending, or made available for humans to read.
